Kids In The Middle campaign: can we find a Scottish school?
FNF Scotland on
Monday, June 24, 2013 at 3:05PM Kids In The Middle has just launched a fundraising campaign run by teenagers in English and Welsh schools.
They are raising money to establish www.kidsinthemiddle.org an online support service for children in separating families. Children will be able to hear from other children and young people who have been through the experience of family separation. Separating parents will also be able to seek a greater understanding of what their children might be going through.
The charity organising this project would like to hear from a Scottish school with teenage pupils interested in becoming involved with this crowdfunding venture. The fundraising campaigns are devised by the teenagers, ideas so far include:
- two girls leapfrogging between the homes of their separated parents;
- one boy is making a rap about parents separating
If you have connections with a school that might be interested, contact Duncan Fisher or get in touch with FNF Scotland on 0131 557 2440.
