Parental Alienation talks in Edinburgh

Parental Alienation, in which children refuse contact with one of their parents without good reason, is one of the most problematic features of family separation.  Families Need Fathers Scotland has invited Dr Sue Whitcombe to Edinburgh on February 11th to talk on this topic. Booking for the two sessions can be made using the links below on the session titles.

Dr Sue Whitcombe will talk about her therapeutic work with families affected by parental alienation and on her research on this phenomenon.   She is the principal psychologist at Family Psychology Solutions, a Community Interest Company based in Middlesbrough, which offers specialist services for families and children, and the professionals, practitioners and organisations who work with them. Their core provision is working with complex relationship issues, particularly where there is hostility, conflict, rejection, alienation or estrangement. http://familypsychologysolutions.org

Well this might be hurtful for the person who is being alienated. Especially as they are suffering from separation. These sessions will help them in coming in terms with those distraught feelings and to solve those issues. I hope that those children are able to live with their parents again.
