Courts and Court Procedure

We have now published a 42-page guide to Representing Yourself in A Scottish Family Court.  Although this is written to help people who are representing themselves in contact actions, it should also be useful for anyone who has legal representation, as it explains what is happening at each stage in the process and includes a guide to legal language and sample motions.

Comments on this pubilcation would be welcomed - email to [email protected] or ring 0131 557 2440.

As well as the guide, FNF Scotland is compiling sample copies of various documents which may come up in legal proceedings, such as an initial writ

Note that each such document has to reflect individual circumstancs, and these samples are provided for background information not as templates.
