Louis de Bernieres puts the case for FNF

In the second of Yasmin Alibhai-Brown's Radio 4 programmes on family breakdown, FNF patron Louis de Bernieres talks about his experience of losing contact with his children.

The well-known author of Captain Correlli's Mandolin mentions the emotional desolation when he was prevented from seeing his two children.

Although he is now sharing the care of the children with his ex-partner, his description of the dreadful silence in his house when the children weren't there will seem very familiar to many of the fathers who contact Families Need Fathers Scotland.

The 15 minute interview was broadcast on Tuesday 28 February at 9.30am.
